International Deaf Conference

Deaf Ministries International is now working in 11 countries. Some of
our older fields like Korea and Japan were involved in helping to
establish works in other countries but our people there, although
they had prayed for and financially supported the new fields, had
never met any of the national workers involved.

In 1999 we decided to hold our first DMI International Conference (We
were called WOI then) in Davao Philippines with the idea of bringing
some of our people together to meet and pray for each and encourage
each other in our ministries and walk with the Lord. Not only DMI
people but others asked to come too and they were made welcome.

It was such a success that we decided to do it again in 2002, this
time in Chiangmai Thailand. We had our second conference from July
29th to August 3rd in North Thailand, which was a tremendous blessing
and encouragement to all who went. Johannes Olschweski from Germany
was the keynote speaker.

We are now focusing our efforts on our third DMI International
Conference that will be held in 2005 in Mukono, Uganda. Feel free to
